The Galantis Family Home Page

I am searching for any information on the Galantis family that immigrated from Greece in the early 1900s, particularly Hatzis Galantis. I am also looking for any information on William Isacc Rigsbee, born in or around Durham, North Carolina in 1886. His mother was a Crabtree. I am also doing research on Zelph Halan Kilpatrick born on January 5th, 1856.Concerning Hatzis Galantis, he was employed by the
Sun Shipbuilding Company in Chester, Pennsylvania during World War II. Following the war, he worked as a sponge diver in Tarpon Springs, Fla. It is possible that he may have had, or still have,
relatives that he was not aware of either in Fla. or Ohio. If so,
according to our preliminary research, these people would also carry the same last name of Galantis. Concerning these possible relatives, we have only recently found out about them, and therefore cannot be sure of their kinship even though the last name is rare and unique.
