SCHULTZ, EGGERS, CARPENTER, and CRONIN Families Researching great grandfather & mother. August Schultz was a first class cabinet maker who arrived from Germany in 1884. Veronica Eggers, from Poland was youngest of 12, came to US in 1884. Somewhere between Chicago and Baltimore, they met & married in 1886. Lived in Balto where my grandmother and brother Edmund were born in 1887 & 1888.Edmund died early infancy/ Then family went to Wilmington, DE. Girl born in 1890 and stillborn boy in 1892. 1894 family went to New Haven, Ct & 5th child/daughter born. Frank Eggers, Veronica's father died in New Haven in 1905. Don't know when he immigrated. August Schultz did become a citizen per the 1900 New Haven census. He died in Boston in 1911. My grandmother married in 1907 and had one daughter, Martha, born June 1908, Boston, MA.
Martha married Charles F. Carpenter from Boston. Chas H Carpenter(gg grandfather) was one of 10 children. Many born in Attleboro, MA or Roxbury, MA. Charles married Frances Wilson. 3 children that we can prove births; Franklin Pierce, William P(ggrandfather) and Eleanor. William married Julia Cronin; they had 6 children; Leo, William L.(grandfather), Marion, Margaret, Elizabeth(died young) and Charlotte. Eleanor Carpenter married Daniel Cronin(Julia's brother). Many of the Carpenters lived in the Roxbury, Dorchester, & South Boston areas of Boston.
