When my grandmother Josephine Lewandowski Rawa's house was being sold, my brothers (Mike and Tom), Uncle Joe Keselicka and I spent some time removing her personal stuff from her home in Newark, NJ. While rummaging in the attic we found 3-4 boxes of old family photos. Trying to identify all these unfamiliar faces is what started my search into the family history. I want to thank every family member (some of whom I recently discovered while searching!) for all their help in compiling this information. The Galante/Rawa families have experienced a series of recent deaths. It's for them that I continue to search to preserve their memories for my children and future generation. |
