My Grandfather Christian Petersen came to America from Denmark aboard the Oscar II in 1910. He left behind in Denmark 10 brothers and sisters, my family only knew the names of two brothers, Anker and Sigismund. I started this family tree hoping to find out about my grandpa's siblings. I am very happy to say that with the help of my two online Danish friends, Martin Andersen and Stig Lenskjśr (who i met through rootsweb.com) I am now in contact with my living family in Denmark! This family tree is to honor my Grandpa Chris and All of my family both past, present and future. I love you all!.........hugs,sue.

******** THIS SITE IS CURRENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION ********
Today is May 17, 2011 I am trying once again to upload the tree onto this website. Stephanie Knappe asked me for some information for a school project so I reinstalled the tree into my computer once again. I hope this works as I discovered the file I was trying to upload was corrupted and I lost some of my work, so this is an older file I am trying to upload tonite...........Well, it didn't work, I am now trying again with Family Tree Maker 2005. I noticed that my new program 2010 would not open up my files and said they were corrupted when in fact the 2005 version will still open them. I am trying to upload the tree again tonite while I go to sleep as it takes hours to do..........If this time doesn't work then I will try next time without adding pictures as my pics make my files large.

I have over 400 people now in this tree and I have been having a difficult time uploading it to this website. It is possible that you may not be able to see it but if I have your email address I will notify you when it is fixed.

Please take a look at my two Danish Friends Martin Andersen and Stig Lenskjśr.... I have entered them into our tree to honor them for the help they gave me in finding my Denmark relatives. Without Martin and Stig the reuniting of the Pedersen family of Denmark and America would not have happened. We all owe them a great thanks. So "Thankyou! Martin and Stig!!" The world needs more people like you in it!!

Hello and Thankyou for visiting our family tree! While you are visiting here please take a look at the names and dates I have and send me an email if you see any mistakes.

***** This tree is done from my standpoint in the family and also includes some of my mothers side of the family. When I started the tree I did not even think of all the success I would have in Denmark with my fathers side so at this time it still includes some of my mothers side of the family. When I make copies of the tree to share I will most likely not include those names if that part of my family does not apply to you.

Frantz and Ulla Knappe came to visit me from Denmark in June of 2006. They were the first living relatives in Denmark that Stig found for me researching the family tree. I was never happier the day of this picnic it was a beautiful moment in my life seeing family that had never met and ones who hadn't been all together since my father was alive come together for a wonderful day at my house. I will always cherish that day :)
