1. DAVID2 HUGUNIN (ABRAHAM OR DAVID1) was born 1781 in Onondaga County, New York, and died 1856 in Madiner County, Ohio. He married CORNELIA HALK 1804. She was born February 11, 1786, and died April 1864 in Madiner County, Ohio.

AVID HUGUNIN:
"David Hugunin was a Minute Man and fought in the War of 1812 and was stationed at Buffalo, New York...When Hiram [the youngest son] was four years old, the family home burned and all records were lost. Mark, the oldest son, was 14 when the family moved to Madiner County, Ohio. Later Mark bought the farm at Wabash County between Wabash and Summerset and moved there. David died the summer of 1856 and Mark inherited the home place. Mark deeded the place to Hiram to care for it and his mother."

Oldest son.

"Mark, the oldest son, was 14 when the family moved to Madiner County, Ohio. Later Mark bought the farm at Wabash County between Wabash and Summerset and moved there. David died the summer of 1856 and Mark inherited the home place. Mark deeded the place to Hiram to care for it and his mother."

Mark died of typhoid fever in Memphis, Tennessee, as a soldier in the Civil War.

  iv.   NANCY HUGUNIN, b. Wabash County, Ohio; d. June 1905, Wabash County, Ohio; m. ODD LELAND.
  v.   CHARLOTTE HUGUNIN.
  Notes for CHARLOTTE HUGUNIN:
"There is mention of a sister, Charlotte Hugunin, who married Charles Dick. He came to Wabash with his boy, from whom a clock was bought (this isn't exactly clear). The clock came from the factory in New Haven, Connecticut. The clock was a Jerome and an offer of $200 was made for it. Repairs were made on it in 1926. The repairman said that it was worth $300, and was in good condition and should run for years. It is now in Montpelier, Vermont, at the home of Ernest Dorries. (He is the son of Nancy Marie Hugunin Dorries)."
