I am researching the Galloway family from Jacobus (John) and Annatje (Lamb) who were married in 1727 in New York City. Their children were baptized in the Dutch Reformed Church in New York City. Lt. James Galloway (B:1742) fought in the Revolution. John Galloway (B:1785) lived in the Palmyra area of Wayne County, New York and moved to Mich around 1825 and settled in Raisinville, Monroe County, Mich. I am also interested in finding the Galloway connection in Scotland. Any information on how to trace Jacobus back to Scotland is appreciated. I am also researching the Bondy, Lavough, Bentley, Wright and Mullenax surnames.
