OHN GAMMON:
On January 3, 1786 the overseer of the poor at Portsmouth, New Hampshire bound out John Gammon, a minor poor child to Phillip Fowler. Term of 12 years or until he reached 21 years. To be taught a trade or calling of husbandman (farming). This information from History of Newfield and 1790 Census of Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
