I am researching the ancestors of Carrie Marie BYERLY and George Smith GARMAN of Reisterstown, Maryland.
George Smith Garman was born 4 August 1890 in Glen Rock, PA, the 11th child of John Adam GARMAN (1852-1924) and Catherine SMITH (1855-1929). For his ancestors, I have done research as far back as George GERMANN (1789-1850), Ludwig KREBS (1725-1784), Henry WEHRLY (b.1739), Balthasar BORTNER (1698-1748), Johannes Friedrich GANS (1686-1743), Peter RUHL (1694-1747), Adam SMITH (1785-1845), and Hans Martin MERCKEL (born abt. 1696). His ancestors lived in PA.

Carrie Marie Byerly was born 4 Nov 1894 in Fowblesburg, MD, the 4th child of William Luther BYERLY (1841-1922) and Annie Isabel HOUCK (1856-1906). For her ancestors, I have done research as far back as Peter BYERLY (d. 1805), Johannes Heinrich LaMOTT (d. 1803), Jacob HUPMAN (daughter Barbara born 1751), Barnett HOUCK (1747-1835), Peter FOWBLE (born abt. 1728), Edward RICHARDS (1678-1755), Thomas HOOKER (died abt 1684), and George BROWN (m 1714, d 1770). Her ancestors lived in MD and PA.
