Notes for Frank Howard Gardner: Died.---At Larchwood, Iowa, on Sunday, April 1, 1888. at 9 o'clock a.m., of lung fever, Frank Howard Gardner, aged 18 years, 6 mos and 3 days. The Funeral services were held at the residence of his parents at this place last Monday. After an able sermon and prayer by Rev Mr. Gleason the remains were conducted to the cemetery, followed by a large concourse of sorrowing relatives and friends. Frank was a bright young man, and had promise of becoming one of our most influential business men. He had been conducting his father's business at Larchwood, and had made friends at every turn. He took cold while out of town, and while returning was siezed with a chill, but like many others did not call a physician until it was too late. His father and mother were with him, and everything was done to save the life of the dear son, but all was in vain. Mr. and Mrs. Gardner have a host of friends who sympathize with them in their sorrow.
