I have been researching our extended family tree for several years, and am pleased at last to post the lists that you can see on this site. I look forward to any updated information or corrections that you can provide to me, as well as .jpg pictures.
For the sake of privacy, all birth dates pertaining to living people have been suppressed.

The Garshowitz (Minsk Gerbenia) and Borovoy (Mogilev Gerbenia) families are represented in the Surname Index and in the Index of Individuals of. As well, I have included family members of the Braun and Mechlovitz families there (Tacovo, Czechoslovakia) and the Zietz family from Dovid-Horodok.

Family outlines are provided for the Mandel and Tyszler families, originating from Ozarow Poland (with thanks to Dr. Steven Tishler and to Morris Gold for providing me with information recently that links our families to our common ancestors); and Ludwig (Lutvak) family from Choroskow, Poland.

Recent information has allowed us to establish the link between the Borovoy and Sustar (Shushter, Shuster and Solomon) families.

An InterneTree for the family of Natan Borovoy outlines the cousins from Mexico and Russia for whom we are still trying to establish the direct links with the family of Shimon Borovoy. I also have family trees for Tzvi Borovoy and other Borovoy lines, which will be added by links to this page when current space limitations are overcome.

Of course, major credit goes to Mel Orecklin, whose early efforts in 1988 for the 50th anniversary Borovoy Family Picnic forms the foundation of this work.
