Did your ancestors come to the U.S.A. through New York City? If youranswer is yes, it's not surprising! It is estimated that as many as 40 percent of people now in the U.S.A. had ancestors who, at one time, lived in New York City. Many of these immigrants stayed in NY, and many died here...Our New York City Cemeteries became the final resting place for many of these people. If you are interested in your ancestors' final resting place, but can't find the time to come to New York to visit their gravesite, I can help you......... For a fee, I can go to your ancestor's gravesite, take one or a series of photos for you, and transcribe the inscriptions engraved on their headstone (where one exists) for you. It is well known that gravestone inscriptions can sometimes give the researcher information about the interred that is not readily available elsewhere.....Clues to places of origin, to relationships of others buried in the same site, etc. This type of information is not even recorded by the Cemetery where the grave resides......You must visit the site to get it. Wouldn't it be nice to have a picture of your ancestor's final resting place to add to your Family Tree Maker Software's multimedia display? Or to your Family Genealogy Scrapbook? Photos add a nice touch to a Genealogy collection.....Let me take some for you, at reasonable rates. Send me an e-mail at: [email protected] for more information....I live in "Cemetery Row" in Queens County, New York.....I'm practically surrounded by Cemeteries of all Faiths, and I can get to them all very easily. Send me a message with your requirements, and I'll get right back to you.
