On the afternoon of the 11 July 1999, the descendants of the Newins families held a family reunion aboard the Paddle Ship, SS Lauren Krisrty in Bayshore, New York. Over 75 members of the family attended the event. Everyone had a great time aboard the ship.(submitted by, Mr. Tom Newins/ August 1999).
