Includes NotesNotes for Teresa Margaret Adams:
From Cindi Simon:

My Grandmother Burdette Adams told that she was a "Blue Baby" (RH disease) and that she had trouble with it all her life. My Grandmother said she died shortly after being scared by a snake at her country school. However, Theresa's obituary states she died of Cerebral Hemorrhage.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock at the St. Boniface Catholic Church for Miss Teresa Adams who passed away suddenly Wednesday evening. Her death was a great shock to her family and many friends as she was in apparently good health until 3 o'clock Wednesday afternoon when she returned home from her duties as a rural school teacher with a severe headache. Death came a few hours later as the result of a Cerebral Hemorrage. Teresa Adams was born October 19, 1906 at her home near Charter Oak and passed away Wednesday Novemver 13,1935 at her home at the age of 29 years, three weeks and four days. She attended and graduated from St. Boniface Catholic School, following which she attended the Charter Oak public high school for which she graduated in the year 1925. Since that time she has been a successful rural school teacher. Having lived here her entire life, "Tessie" as she was better known to all, had a large circle of friends who will miss her greatly. To those and the family the hand of sympathy is exteneded by the entire community. The deceased leaves to mourn her departure her mother, Mrs. Julia Adams of Charter Oak; three brothers, Rudolph and Leo of Charter Oak and John Quincy of Spencer; three sisters, Mrs. Howard Geohring of Los Angeles CA, Mrs. Earl Brown of Sioux Falls SD, and Mrs. P. Wayne Keitges of Danbury. Her father Gust Adams preceded her in death two years. Pall bearers at the funeral were Paul Stanley, Ralph Osborne, Charles Dietz, Morris Heffernan, Leonard Abbott, and John Foley. Rev. A.J. Arndorfer officiated. Internment was in the Catholic Cemetery.
