Was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows. In 1905 he was the treasurer of Lodge No. 355. They met every Friday. He was listed in the directory in Logan Iowa 1905. He was listed as a laborer living on route 1 Jefferson Twsp. in the 1905 Harrison Co. Directory.
Married by Rev. W.A. Welker The marriage license has a consent note written by E.S. Rockwell and signed by E.S. Rockwell and Sarah Rockwell attached to it. Harrison co. Marriage Book 7 p335 and 1905 Harrison Co Directory p 12.
