The volumes are to be found in the Lincoln Archives, in Lincoln, Lincolnshire, England. Rev Thomas Garthwaite (brother of Rev Miles Garthwaite). Being BA, St Johns College, Cambridge, 1600-1601; MA 1604; incorporated MA, Oxford, 14 Jul 1612. Vicar of Copdocke, co. Suffolk, 1617. Obtained license for marriage of Miles Garthwaite's wid ow with Gregory Heron, 1621 which indicates a near relationship. He is then called of Fulbeck. Garthwaite, Thomas Matric. sizar c1596 from St John's B.A. 1600/1, M.A. 1604 ,Brother of Miles Garthwayt (B.A. 1592/3). Incorporated M.A. at Oxford 14 July 1612. Venn: rector of Copdock, Suffolk, 1617; rector of Blaxhall 1621. Will 1653 Lincoln Record Soc.23 (1926), p. 412: Liber Cleri, 1604: Ludborough. Thomas Garthwait, schoolmaster; ordained deacon by the Bishop of Lincoln; licensed 31 August 1604 by Dr Hill, in any parish throughout the whole Archdeaconry of Lincoln, an d to serve the cure there under the rector there.
