WILL OF JONATHAN BEITZELL
In the name of the Benevolent Father of all
I,Jonathan Beitzell of sound mind do make
and publish this my last Will and Testament
ILeave 1st at my death I give and devise to my
daughter Lucy Snapp the West half of the North
West quarter of the South West quarter of section
Twenty Seven"27" in Township Twenty Five"25"
North range Seven"7"East containing Twenty acres
Lucy Snapp is to pay Matilda A. Jones Two Hundred
Dollars in difference between the Two tracts.
Ileave 2nd I give and devise at my death to
Matilda A. Jones my daughter the each half
of the South West quarters of the South West
quarters of Twenty Seven"27" of Township
Twenty Five North range Seven"7" East containing
Twenty acres-Ileave 3rd after my death I devise that
my funeral expenses and my just debts be paid
out of the balance of my estate that may be left and I desire that
I be buried in a metalic case and that there be a
monument put up at my lot in the Marion Cemetary costing not less
than one hundred dollars and after all this is paid I desire
that the ballance be equally divided between my children
after taking out two hundred dollars that I leave to George Beitzel
and three hundred dollars that I leaved to Alfred Beitzel
In testimony whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal

As said Jonathan Beitzell as his last Will Berore me William Frighner
clerk of Marion,Grant County Ciecuit Court personally cause
James M pugh one of the witnesses to the foregoing last Will and
Testament of Jonathan Beitzel late of said County,deceased
and being duly solem in his oath says that he was present at the execution of said last will;that the same was duly executed;that at the time
of the execution thereof said testament was of full age to devise his
property of sound mind and memory and was under any coercion
that said testament required him to sign said will as witnessed
thereto which he accordingly did in the presence of William
Stevens the other subscribing witness thereto
