Gaus Haus Family Home Page

I am researching the Gaus Family, Ernest W. Gaus came to America from Germany in 1883 with an Aunt Mary and a sister Minna, who married a Zulsmann in Austin Co. in 1888. No one knows what happened to Minna or Aunt Mary. Ernest W. Gaus married an Anna Meischen in Austin Co., moved to DeWitt Co in 1914 and to Karnes Co. afterwards. Also researching the surnames of Peters, Neumann, Schroeder, Bode, Helmers, Keiler, Sassenberg, Rudloff. I have information on most of these families here in the United States but I am interested in knowing where they lived in Germany. All came from Germany and all belonged to Lutheran Churches here in U. S.
Any information would be appreciated and I am willing to share the information I have with fellow reseachers. Thanks!
