James Richard Gaudet, of Manchester, NH

This Gaudet family tree traces our Acadian roots, and contains links to families such as Giroux, Bourgeault, DesRochers, Allair, Thibodeau, and others. I am even related to my wife very distantly!
Much of my initial research came either through and from my Aunt Marie (Gaudet) Lefebvre, and the American-Canadian Genealogical Society (ACGS) In Manchester. This library is an excellent source of information, staffed by many dedicated volunteers with a wealth of information. I would encourage people to visit this library.
Knowing and celebrating our family's French-Canadian (Acadian) heritage has been important, to pass on to future generations. As they say in Quebec, "Je me souviens".
