I am researching my paternal side which includes the surnames West and Ballentine. I have found William Coleman West born in White County, Indiana but have reached a blank wall at this point. My grandmother's name - Ballentine - has been researched as far as William Dougal Ballentine who came from Ireland but I have come upon a lot of discrepancies in the information found.

As far as the Stalcup-Hobart line, which is my maternal side, I have information back to the colonizing of Delaware in the 1600's for the Stalcups, but I have nothing further than William Hoback, b.10/20/1820; d.4/20/1893 for the Hoback line.

Any information regarding either of these lines would be greatly appreciated. I would be more than glad to share what I have.
