Re: SENK FAMILY REUNION

It was a lovely day but a little windy on the Hudson River Front. We all had a wonderful time full of food drink and memories. The children enjoyed playing with each other in the play ground and catching Crabs. Us adults talked of the old times and pulled out a few pictures. However it was too windy to spread the pictures on the table. So we planned on a meeting again. Calling it a picture meeting Smiles. Everyone brought a little something for the grand feast Lots and Lots of pictures were taken. It was too long since we saw each other last.
Those in attendance was
Bill Senk and his wife Eva (Bill is a first cousin of my mom's)
Lester Senk and his 2 children
Barbara (Senk) ad her 2 grand children
Linda(Senk) and her 2 children
Bobby Gilhooly and his wife LuAnn
Their son and his child and sons girl friend.
My children and Grandchildren
Bob Gavin his wife Chris & Casey and Meghan
Barbara (Gavin) Green and her husband Bobby & Children Danny
and Thomas.
Jennifer (Gavin)Reilly and her 2 girls Caitlyn & Meghan
Jonathan Gavin aka Jon
and of cause me Alice (Kelly) Gavin.
Some stopped at the Nursing Home to see Mom before they came to this picnic. We all agree it was alovely time had by all and hope to do it again next year. Hoping all who didn't make it will come next year. So if you have a time of year that is better for you then others let me know. I will send all another date in January of 2003 for the second family reunion

A reunion for the Kelly side of the family is in the works also for next year. This one will be a big one for most have to come from a far. But if it is planned right we will all have a wonderful vacation. I am thinking of Staten Island for the meeting place near Aunt Peggy believe to be the only living member of her generation. It would be so much easier if we go to her. My Mom will not be able to be at this one but that will be okay. Have a wonderful year and keep healthy. Write me with your thoughts and get all those old pictures and whatever out of the closet.
