The Eastern Iowa Gearharts came from Pennsylvania and New Jersey. They were all Farmers starting with CAPT Jacob Gearhart who fought in the Revolutionary war. It is hoped that the information provided here may assist someone in their research and give them the happiness experienced by myself when I found out my ancestry. |
