I am researching the following names: CROWLEY, JONES, HALLETT (or HUGHES-HALLETT), WALSH and LAWRENCE.The Crowley and Walsh families came from Ireland. All I know about the Walsh family is that they originated in County Galway. The Crowleys home in Ireland is unknown to me at this time, however, I seem to recollect the name Killarney.The Hallett Family I am researching was in Surrey, England around 1888. I believe my great-grandfather's name was George and he was a sea captain; he had a son also named George who was lost at sea sometime in the 1890's. I believe my great-grandmother's name was Susan McIntyre Hallett, but I am not certain of this. My grandmother, Lucy Hallett Jones came to the United States by ship around 1907. We believe she traveled from Liverpool to Montreal, Canada. |
