My Geffken ancestors are from the Worpswede area of Germany, between Bremen and Hamburg. I am certain of my Great-Great-Great Grandfather's name and dates: Frederick Geffken(11/14/1844 to 5/20/1912). He married Lena Behrens(9/23/1835 to 2/2/1917)in Worpswede on 4/17/1861. Four of their 6 children emigrated to the USA and settled in the Deep River, CT area. My immediate ancestors are from the Rockfall, CT area. Any German Geffken sources are appreciated. I will faithfully correspond and share information.
