My name is Leonard F. Gegg and I am the 9th generation of Jakob
Gegg of Hofweier Germany.Much of the research has happened over
the past few years by a number of the Gegg family. Joseph Gegg
and Andreas Gegg were brothers in Hofweier Germany and Joseph came to America in April 1834. Andreas son, Severin came to America in 1852. These two families settled in the Ste. Genevieve region.

The first Gegg reunion of Frank X. Gegg, who is my grandfather of the Joseph Gegg descendants will be September 10th at the Lime Kiln Park in Ste Genevieve. Everyone in the Gegg family is welcome.
