I am looking for help with my family genealogy. All new information and/or corrections are welcome. I have been told that the Cook and Johnson family line lead back to American Indian heritage. The Cooks are possibly Cherokee and the Johnson's Sac/Fox. I have traced the Cooks to Ohio and ending in Kansas, and the Johnson's in Indiana ending in Kansas. This web site produced 3/6/2004

Jennie A (Austin) Born 1/24/1856, Died 5/11/1949. They were Married 12/25/1877. Burdett Johnson (81 KB) Trying to ID where picture taken and what tribe. Possible taken in Iowa Sac/Fox tribe.
