The primary focus of this site is the research and online publication of my personal family trees, which ascend from the Gemmell and Libeau surnames. These two trees branch out significantly, and there are over 25,000 individuals contained in my family tree currently. Most frequently appearing surnames are Adams, Alexander, Armistead, Ashton, Bolling, Campbell, Chancellor, Clark, Dade, Dandridge, Jett, Jones, Kennon, Lee, Payne, Pope, Preston, Randolph, Smith, Stith, Taliaferro, Taylor, Triplett, and Withers. My personal genealogy branches out from my father's line (Gemmell) and my mother's line (Libeau). Family at Grandma Ruby's funeral (76 KB) This is the entire family, minus my paternal grandmother, Ruby Mae Jones Gemmell, wife of William Law Gemmell, Jr. We were gathered here for her funeral on March 07, 2000. Grandma Ruby (74 KB) This is my paternal grandmother, Ruby Mae Jones Gemmell. This photo was taken in Summer 1999, about eight months before she died. Grandpa Bill (43 KB) This is my paternal grandfather, William Law Gemmell, Jr. He died in 1970, two years before I was born. This is a retouched photo...the original, sitting on the mantle of my grandmother's house still, is covered with scratches. My Family (58 KB) This is my immediate family.
