On last Thursday afternoon at three o'clock at the Presbyterian Manse in Canisteo, occurred, the marriage of Miss Charlotte GRAVES of West Union to Leon McCUTCHEON of Harrison Valley, by Rev. Magill. The bride's wedding gown was Burgandy satin. Her traveling suit was brown broadcloth. The groom wore conventional black. Mrs. McCutcheon is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. GRAVES and a very highly esteemed young lady. She is an efficient teacher, being a graduate of Canisteo Academy and Training class and the Geneseo State Normal. The groom is a popular young man of Harrison Valley. After a brief wedding tour they will be home to their many friends. The News and a host of friends extend congratulations.

REXVILLE - Charles C. Graves, 73, of Rexville, died at his home Monday evening. A native of West Union, Mr. Graves was a farmer. Survivors include a son, William Graves of Rexville; and a brother Myron Graves of Ulysses, Pa. Also surving are two grandchildren and several nieces and nephews...Burial will be in Whitesville Rural Cemetery.

Mrs. Charles GRAVES Dies In Whitesville
Whitesville, Mar. 27 -- Mrs. Charles GRAVES died at her home in Whitesville yesterday afternoon at 12:27 o'clock at the age of 45. She was born in West Union, the daughter of Lester and Nettie McGRAW BAKER, May 31, 1898. On June 22, 1921, she was married to Charles GRAVES who survives together with her parents and a son, William, all of Whitesville. Also surviving is her sister, Mrs. Earl NYE, of Whitesville. Funeral services will be held at the home in Whitesville Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 followed by services at the Whitesville Methodist church at 2 o'clock; the Rev. Engler of Corning and the Rev. Read of Whitesville officiating. Burial will be in Whitesville.

Pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Hornell, yesterday, Wednesday, June 22d Miss MARY MILDRED BAKER, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lester C. BAKER of this village became the bride of CHARLES C. GRAVES, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. T. GRAVES of West Union. Rev. C. C. MackLean performed the cermony. The bride, magnificently gowned in turquoise blue crepe-de-chine trimmed with oriental lace was attended by Miss Marjorie GRAVES of Hornell, sister of the groom, who was gowned in maize organdie. The groom wore a suit of navy blue and his best man. Harold McGRAW wore a suit of grey. Mrs. GRAVES is one of Whitesville's accomplished young ladies and her husband is a professional []tock tester being a graduate of Cornell Agricultural college. Following the ceremony the happy couple left on a short motor trip to various places in this state and then will return to this village where they expect to make their home. ULYSSES, Pa. - Myron T. Graves, 70, of Ulysses, died Sunday at his home following a brief illness. Born July 30, 1904 in Rexville, he was a son of Willy and Anna Kelly Graves. He was married to Lillian Hulse. Mr. Graves was a retired employee of the Pennsylvania Highway Dept. He was a member of the American Legion of Ulysses and a veteran of World War II. Surviving are : six sons, Charles Sutton of Couderport, Pa., Byron Sutton of Galeton, Pa., Leo, Lynn and Leon Graves, all of Ulysses, Pa. and Lowell Graves of Genesee, pa; five daughters, Mrs. Richard (Dorothy) Nelson of Coudersport, Mrs James (Maude) Goodenough of Genesee, Mrs. Charles (Linda) Dake of Blossburg, Pa., Mrs. Andrew (Louise) Payne of Genesee, Pa., and Mrs. Ricky (Lucille) Copp of Emporium, Pa.; 27 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. ...
