We are trying to locate information on the GEORGE family, including surnames BUTLER (family legend says there are possible relations to the Jesse James family, doesn't everyone), SUMMERS (appears to include several spellings), VAN HORN (several different spellings), LENT, ELTRINGHAM (John K. immigrated from England, born December 31, 1813), DAWSON, PATTERSON, GREEN and SMITH. This side of the family seems to be primarily based out of the Zanesville, Muskingum County, OH and Pennsylvannia area since the early 1800's through to today. Likewise, the BROCK family, including surnames SHORT, WILSON and NATIONS. This side of the family is based out of Georgia and possibly Alabama. NATIONS apparently had some level of significant involvment in the Civil War.
