In April of 1864 William and his family left Canada. It shows them in Ohio in 1867, proven by Minnie being born there. The 1870 Shawano County, WI. census, shows William and Sharlotte and all of their children in the town of Angelica. William is listed as a Stone Cutter, and was born in Canada. His property was worth $500.
The 1880 Shawano census shows only Charlotte and the children, Thomas and Minnie. William is gone. He may be in Washington state. It does show that William was born in Ireland.. The 1870 census shows William born in Canada.
A cemetery index shows William McMillin and his wife, Charlottie, as being buried in the Hillside Cemetery in Angelica, Wisconsin.
