*William Oliver (son of *Richard Oliver and *Hanah Conkwright)⁶⁷ was born September 05, 1782 in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina⁶⁷, and died June 10, 1846 in Randolph County, Missouri⁶⁷. He married *Sarah Davis on May 29, 1803 in Clark County, Kentucky⁶⁷.

William at age of 46, left Kentucky in1828, in a covered wagon with 5 head of horses and son Mathew Davis, 19 yrs old, to come to Missouri. William also brought the "Old Oliver Family Bible", this Bible has been the source of birth and death records, and was passed down thru the generations.
The following is written in the Bible:
THIS OLD BOOK TO BE HANDED TO ONE OF ALFONZO OLIVER'S CHILDREN.

CLAIBORNE OLIVER HAD THIS BIBLE MORE THAN 70 YEARS. IT IS SAID THIS BIBLE OVER 300 YEARS OLD. HANDED DOWN FROM GREAT, GREAT GREAT GRANDFATHER OLIVER. HE BROUGHT IT FROM KENTUCKY IN A COVERED WAGON. WHEN NONE OF FAMILY WANTS IT PLEASE PUT IT IN THE MUSEUM AT THE SCHOOL OF THE OZARKS OF MISSOURI.

This Bible was handed down to Jimmy Worley, Jr. from his aunt, Helen Oliver Elkins in January 2001.
