We are researching several surnames as a family hobby. Our name, GEZANN, was originally GRZANN. The family came from Germany in the 1880's to Chicago, and then settled in Detroit. Our part of the family came to Cleveland, Ohio in the 1920's. My wife is a SCHUSTER. Her grandfather came to Cleveland froma German settlement in Transylvania. He mother was born in Sweden. SCHUSTER from Transylvania and CARLSON from Brunskog, Sweden
