I have been researching The John Ghant Family. John Ghant was the father of William Ransom Ghant who was the father of William Perry Ghant who was father of Harvey Samuel Ghantt (Two T's added somehow)Harvey Samuel Ghantt was my father.Can't find much on John but his son William Ransom Ghant was born in Blackstock,SC Aug.31 1879. Died Lewisville,SC Aug. 31 1936. William Perry Ghant was born May 29 1898 in Lancaster,SC. Died Aug. 15 1971 Harvey Samuel Ghantt was born in Chester,SC Feb. 16 1929. Died April 10 1984 in Dallas,NC. Iwas born April 8 1949 in Gastonia,NC. I will appreciate any info you may have regarding my research. Thank You, Harvey Michael Ghantt
