I am trying to research my paternal grandfather, Simon Ghertner who was born in Roman, Romaina in 1887 and came to the United States (Nashville, Tennessee) about 1900. Very little is know about his ancestors.
Almost nothing is known about my maternal grandfather, John Bloom.
My aunt Jean Fleisman (Ghertner) has been traced back to 1782.
My paternal step-grandmother's family dates back to Soloman Block in Camden, Arkansas 1826.
I will have another subscription website, for family and friends only, that will include birth and marriage dates, as well as photos.
