The Millender Family

I am seeking information on the Millender family, my grandfather was Wallace William Millender, I believe he was born in Kansas or Missouri. I cannot find any documentation to support this. I have been told one of the cousins on his half brothers side of the family has the records I need, but can't seem to contact her. any information would be appreciated.
