My genealogical research so far covers my descendants of the GILKS family free back from about 1630. I would be very interested to hear from anyone else researching the GILKS, GILKES, GHILKES, JILKS or JILKES (or any other variation) family history. I would also like to hear from anyone with family connections to any member of the family. I have also started a 'one name' study of the GILKS (and all variants) family. So far I have established a database of over 6,500 individuals (GILKSs and their ancestors / descendents).
