My Grandmother was born in Emerson, GA in 1894. Her name was Mabel Owens, she married Charles Chambers around 1914. I'm trying to find information relating to our Native American heritage. My great grandmother was an Alford, her name was Ida.My ancestors on my mother's side are mainly from Cartersville, Emerson, Lindale and the Rome area in Georgia. Any information on the Chambers, Owens, Alfords or Prathers born in N.W. Georgia around the above dates would be greatly appreciated.
