| Homes 1799 to 1999Hooper 1830 to 1999 I am researching the HOMES family from London and Southwark Surrey.(England) Charles Homes (also know as Holmes) married in London in 1803 to Anne Jepson. I have found their children all of the children were born and baptised in St Olaves Southwark. The family after this date in Southwark were Hatters, or silk weavers in the east of the City of London (Middx) I do not know who Charles`s parents were. Also I`m researching the HOOPER family from Saltash Cornwall I have found the family on the 1841 census in Saltash Cornwall and Frederick Hall Hooper married in Southwark 1854. But where was the Hooper family before 1841 ? family league has it that they own tin mines. But Frederick`s father Thomas was listed as a blacksmith in Saltash 1841. Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have. |
