Brian Gilkison's Family Tree

I am researching the GILKISON family from Lewis County, KY (mainly the Vanceburg area, but includes surrounding areas). William M Gilkison, b 1828, d 28 Feb 1898, appears in the 1850 census, but I haven't been able to go back farther than that. He was married to Sarah REDENOWER (REDNOUR?), b Mar 1828, d 21 Jan 1916; they were married on 21 Aug 1849 by Thomas Shelton, esq., in Aberdeen, OH.
In addition, I also have information my Uncle has collected on our relations in the CORSON family, going back to Jansen CARSTEN, b 1634, lived in Gravesend, Long Island, NY.

Any information would be appreciated. I am also willing to share the information that I have.
