| I am reserching the Wellman with variable spellings Wellmann, Willmann and the Wieland, Tucholl, Stolp, Fiedler, Janz, Baranowski families all in Prussia in 1880's.Most came to America 1881 and beyond.The Wellmann family was from the Samotchin, Posen, Prussia area. The Fiedler family from Krojanke, Westpreussen,Prussia and the Wieland family from Ropersdorf, Prenzlau, Prussia. We are also reserching the William Gillmore family in Massachusetts in 1750 and prior in County Down Ireland and Isle of Lewis Scotland.The John Gullidge family came to Lake Co. Il. in about 1872 from Middlezoy, Somerset, England.
