| I am trying to trace the movements of the Pett family. Not quite root, branch and twigg, just the part that ended up in the Rhondda Valley. I know that although that's where they ended, they came from Liverpool - but where they came from before that -well that's another story. Most of the older members of the family died before I started, so that resource is lost. Some say the family is from Cornwall but I've yet to verify that. I'm also trying to trace the Gill family - they also ended up in the Rhondda - but I do know that they came from Frithelstock Stone in Devon. |
