Richard Gilbert of Cornwall, England

I am researching the Gilbert family from North-West Cornwall. The earliest records have them living in the Parish of Kilkhampton then Poughill c1773. They were then found in neighbouring Morwenstow from 1800 until c1900. Branches moved to St Agnes and Illogan in Cornwall and others emigrated to New Zealand c1875 and maybe Canada.

I would love to hear from any descendents of the family still living in the UK and especially those from around the world whose roots lay in Kernow.
