This page is the home base for the descendants of Thomas S. Corbitt and Maggie Pearson Corbitt. We hope to find a way to increase the already strong bond we feel as their descendants by learning more about their lives. We also want to learn as much as we can about the lives of their parents and others who preceeded them and molded them into the strong influences in our lives. Those of you who can remember grandaddy Corbitt, or any of our other ancestors, and can add more in the way of anecdotes and experiences, I invite you to send it to me in an e-mail and I will add them to this site for the others to see. Feel free to include any other comment or recollection from any family function or visit that is a strong memory to you about any of our family members. You never know if it may rekindle a memory of another of us who can add more to it. By some of the stories I have gathered talking to some of the cousins, I hear that Grandaddy Corbitt was quiet but witty, strong and stern, but loved to have children around him. If you have any pictures, documents or recollections you want to add, please also send them to me and they will be added. |
