The only children confirmed for Esau are sons, Francis Ludington and Andrew Ludington of Greenbrier (W)VA. It appears that Esau is the son of Elisha Ludington and Lydia Pierson of Dutchess County, NY. There is much circumstantial evidence to indicate that Esau is really Elisha's son, Asa.
