UPDATE July 7, 2009: Changed background image, added two new Census images for George Rogers and Stephen Rogers. More will be added in the future, but the process is slow.
This is the ongoing construction of the Gilmore family home page, including surnames Cronk/Cronkhite, Bromet, Mossel, Rogers and many more.
A special welcome to all my Gilmore and Bromet relatives, and hopefully a spot for Cronks, Mossels, Rogers and others to see how and if we are related. Please check out the Report below, and follow the instructions that appear at the bottom of the page.
A brief outline of the family:
GILMORE: Mainly from Northern Ireland (Fintona, County Tyrone), but my family came to Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the turn of the century. Others may still be in the UK. ROGERS: From County Kent, England (small towns of Oare and Faversham). Our branch moved to Toronto, Ontario, Canada in the early 1900s. BROMET: AKA Cohen Bromet, lived in Amsterdam/Netherlands for the better part of 250 years. Our branch came to Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1958. MOSSEL: From the Netherlands (Amsterdam area). Our branch came to Toronto, Ontario, Canada in 1958. CRONKHITE: Dutch immigrants to the upstate New York, moved to Canada in early 1790s when they heard of the offer of free land. Descendants are scattered around Canada and the United States. Also known as Cronk, Cronkright, Cronkwright, Krankheyt and Krank.
