Ida Mae Lane's parents were Paris Mendenhall Lane, born 18 Oct 1843, Wayne Twp, Tippecanoe, In. Died 07 Nov. 1900, Spruce, Bates County, Mo. Her mother,Irene Jane Modlin/Maudlin, born Mar 1840, Henry/St. Jospeh County In. Irene was the daughter of Barnabus Modlin/Maudlin. I am searching for the father of Rachel Lonia Collins/Owings, born 30 Jun 1864, Cliffdale, Calhoun County, Il. Died 21 Apr 1937, Pearl, Pike Twp., Pike County, Il. Rachel married Joshua Newnom, 23 Dec 1879, Pearl, Pike County, Il. Later Rachel Lonia married Henry Crader in Pearl, Pike County, Il. Rachel Lonia's mother was Rachel Collins, born 1829, Il., died 14 May 1867, Pearl Twp., Pike County, Il. Rachel married Daniel Boone Owings, 27 Oct 1850, Carrollton, Greene Co., Il., but Daniel was not her father he died in action during the Civil War. I need to know the parents and siblings of Rachel Collins, born 1829. I expect they were living in Pike County Illinois and her family were still there when she died in 1867, but don't have a clue as to who they were.
