The John A. Edwards of Steger, IL

I am reserching John A. Edwards family he married Victoria Strzelec May 30,1936 her father is Benedictine Strzelec her mather is Pauline Strzelec(Wilk)John's father is Charles W. Edwards. John's mother is Josephine Edwards(Bouvier). John had brother's and sisters Francis,Charles L., Wilffred, Leora, Evelyn.
We know that Josephine was born in Ft. Wayne IN she was full French, had a brother Charlie. Her father came here to US to avoid the French revolution.
His father Charles was from Indianapolis,IN and had 5 brother, Oscar, Walter, Ralph, Orville, Raymond. Charles's father was Welsh and came to US a very long time ago. His mother was English.
We know that the Edwards tried to trace the family history in 1929? but couldn't trace back far enough to know when they came to US.
