| The Gilbert family is mostly located in the North Carolina, South Carolina area. Looking for information about Wm Gilbert who may have immigrated to Va in the mid-1700's, John Rhuberry from the 1600's, Claiborn Howard 1770's, John Yow, Paducah, Ky. Other family names include: Hauser, Everedge,Crouch, Shutt, Lanier. The Skoglund family--looking for information on Emil Skoglund whe immigrated from Sweden in 1889, Andrew Anderson 1880, Elisa Aasen or Robertson who came from Norway, and Daniel Nilsen who came from Norway in 1882. These families reside in the Rockford/Chicago, Ill areas and Minn. Some may have gone to the Seattle area also. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has information on these families and would share information. |
