Gilreath Family

Our ancestors are our connection to the past. They were alive during histories most imporant events. Some of them came to America aboard ships from Europe. They came looking for a new land and a better life. Others, such as the American Indians, were already here. They might have been signers of the Declaration of Independence or soldiers for freedom in the Revolutionary War. The Civil War may have found them divided, brother against brother, or they could have been among the adventuresome settlers of the American West.
