* The Kimbro/Spencer/Law/Giles and related family of Oklahoma*

Updated February 6, 2002

I have recently started with the search for my family history. Unfortunatly, I started this after my father, Finney Allen Kimbro, and all his siblings were gone; so information about this side of the family is sketchy to say the least.

What I do know about the Kimbro side of the family: My father was born in Howe, Oklahoma in 1905. His father was Jeff Allen Kimbro and his mother was Hannah Manerva Schults-Dennis-Kimbro. I have been told that Jeff Allen had a brother that also lived in the Howe area but have no idea as to his identity. At some point, the Kimbro's left the Leflore County/Cherokee Nation I.T. and moved to the Grady County/Chickasaw Nation I.T. They lived in the Bradley area of Grady County. My father left home at age 14 and lived with others and worked for his room and board.

Any information you may have to help me in my quest would be greatly appreciated...and Thank you for dropping by.
