My southern roots are from Ashland, KY. I have found relatives through out the Eastern & Southern United States as well as in Ireland, England, Scotland & Germany.
My father is Charles Henry Gillum. His parents are Charles Everett Gillum & Annie Allen. My Mother is Patricia Ann Lunsford. Her parents are Noah Webster Lunsford & Wilma Lulia Dyer.
A few other surnames I'm connecting in the family are:
GILLUM & ALLEN side: JOHNSON, STAPLETON, SALYERS, HAMMON, COOK,
SEBASTIAN, PRATER, BARKER, LYKINS, WILLIAMS
LUNSFORD & DYER side: TOMLIN, ELKINS, BROMFIELD, VANOVER, SEXTON
ADAMS, THOMAS, HOLMES, WATSON, LEWIS, JONES
All are not listed here for there are many.
My Mother has a lot of information on her side that she and I are trying to get together for our Family Tree. I have hit many brick walls, as to be expected. I am particularly having trouble sorting out my Grandfather's side of Gillum/Gilliam.
I have lots of info that I chose not to publish. I'm still updating and fixing things in my files. Most of my information I've gotten through family members, which to me as to you, is priceless. If there are any inconsistancies, things need to be altered or something to not be published, please contact me.
Any information is welcome and I'd love to share with family.
